There are so many places in DC that serve multiple functions. A restaurant turns into a bar or club at night. A hotel offers bottomless brunch on the weekends. A deli hides a cocktail lounge. The Line Hotel, which opened in late 2017, is a gorgeous hotel located in a former church that offers several different dining experiences, plenty of work space, and a place to stay.
I love getting out of my apartment on the weekends and finding a new spot to experience while being productive. After seeing so many beautiful photos of this place in DC with a gorgeous golden mirror, I decided I had to visit the Line Hotel.
The space is gorgeous and open with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs to relax in as well as community tables if productivity is your goal. I enjoyed a latte from the Cup We All Race 4 and snacked on Brussels sprouts from Brothers and Sisters, the restaurant that serves the lower lobby. The Line’s several culinary experiences feature different price points and are all locally sourced and also include A Rake’s Progress, Spoken English, and A Rake’s Bar.
Adams Morgan is a “must-visit” for Washington, DC and the Line has managed to embody a lot of its character. If you find yourself in the neighborhood with very little time, visit the Line Hotel.
