Little Pearl, previously a part of Aaron Silverman’s Pineapple and Pearls on Barrack’s Row, opened up in Capitol Hill this past December. They offer delicious pastries, sandwiches, and other various snacks during the day. I ordered the Gravlax & Sourdough (see above) which had delicious cured salmon with a housemade sauce. The regular drip coffee was also delicious, but for fancier options they have banana lattes, coconut nutmeg lattes and other specialty items. In the evening, Little Pearl turns into a wine bar. I have been told the wines are incredibly unique and delicious!
Little Pearl is located in an old stable and provides some seating outside. To guarantee yourself a seat on a nice day, I would recommend either going during the week or earlier in the morning on the weekends as it tends to get crowded.
Sidenote: Although I got the Gravlax & Sourdough, the fried chicken sandwich is supposed to be out of this world!
