Mr. Henry’s is a cozy restaurant that has been around for over 50 years. The dark wood paneling and wooden booths add character to the restaurant and make you feel like you have stepped back in time. It is filled with regulars, and is a true neighborhood gem.
The menu is mostly traditional pub fare (burgers, sandwiches, soups), but what makes this place special is the live jazz upstairs on Friday and Saturday nights. The room is fairly small so if you do come for the jazz, I recommend you make a reservation or get there early to get a spot near the stage. You won’t regret it!
The shows do not have a cover but there is a $15 minimum per person on Fridays and Saturdays. I would plan to either have dinner here or get a few drinks and enjoy the music. You will be blown away by some of the talent these musicians have!
