Hands down, this is one of my favourite places in Zurich. If you asked me where to go for coffee and cake, tasty lunch or Sunday morning breakfast, I’d say: Babu’s.

The interior, which reminds me of my grandma’s living room, makes one feel really cosy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and all the food is high quality. There are cakes, snacks, salads, smoothies and of course tea and coffee (huge cappuccinos with a little heart or flower patterns in the foam).

Babu’s has WI-FI too, but let me warn you: It’s a bit of a busy place, and at rush hours it’s not your place to open your laptop and work there for hours and hours. Other people have a right to delicious cake too.
