I enjoy being a Spotter because I like to tell the world stories about my favorite places and things. But there is more to it: I developed the habit of having my eyes open and ending up noticing new spots.
Coco bar and grill exists since October 2006 but it took me 3 years to notice it.
Why should I have noticed it earlier? Because it is located so dramatically at a point I often go by: very close to Paradeplatz, the city center and on the way to other spots I have already written about.
Why is it hard to notice? Because it is well hidden as if it wants to let its guests relax in peace. Take Bleicherweg from Paradeplatz. On the second opening look left. Just next to one of the private bank. You will see a charming place with a garden: elegantly and simply set up. There are nice wooden tables with a simple light complementing the surrounding little lights (see photos). And there are also two little sofas (my favorite setting for a drink) without a table in front of them. So if you don’t want to place your glass on the floor, steal a chair from the nearby tables.
On the tables you can also have a ‘snack’: try grilled sliced entrecote medium rare. You will order a second one.
The bar area inside is small so people are close to one another so it is easier to make acquaintances.
