My life happens mostly online. Through my work as webmaster, social networks, my online shopping addiction, ebanking, whatsapp and all other apps, I don’t need to be physically present to do many of the things I have to do.
There are few things though that I like to keep real and that require me to use some of my senses, or at least one or two. I like this good-ol’-times feeling of doing something no kid would do today. Like going to a video store and renting a video.
Fortunately, you can still find places in town that allow you to do this. Les videos is one of them. With more than 30-years of history and a selection of 30000 DVDs, Blu Rays and Videos to choose from, the people working there are not amateurs. They know about movies and most likely, they will have any movie you can think of making the place a paradise for film lovers looking for a particular film, or foreigners like me looking for a Peruvian one. Of course, popcorn movies are also to be found, but I wouldn’t focus on those. Not for no reason are they known for having one of the largest assortments of videos in Europe.
If you want a break from the online world, go to Les Videos and get lost in their never-ending shelves. And, do not forget to get a stamp for every film you rent. Old school, I know, but freebies make everything more enjoyable.
