My friend kept pestering me about trying out this newly opened pastry shop that I finally gave in. It had been recently launched and he had discovered, and obviously tasted, several of their concoctions at their opening evening. His enthusiastic call made me suggest we started our Saturday round by indulging our palates with a dessert, before going for dinner. I know, this is not the way things are done, but life is short and only adventures will be remembered. 😉

So here we are, at this old building that has been well restored, with a patio that must have been a garden in a past life. Everything was impeccably clean and welcoming. We entered the shop and were greeted by an affable gent who suggested we try out some sweet bites displayed on a black platter. And we did. Delicious! Every inch of the inner space is brightly lit and there are several arrays of creations. We finally decided on a very appetizing apple tart and were not disappointed. It was yummy and fairly priced. Wanna try some other funky mix of oriental and international sweets? Visit Praliné and taste for yourself. 🙂
