One of the next city guides we would like to launch as part of our fight against overtourism is Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus!
When most people think of Cyprus, they instinctively think of its lovely beaches. As such, most of its other cities end up being largely unknown by tourists and foreigners, including its capital Nicosia. However, we know that Nicosia is a great city with lots of offer, and we need your help to prove this to the rest of the world.

Cyprus Museum, Bellapais, Selimiye Mosque, Büyük Han, Venetian Fortifications. As a Nicosia local, you are likely familiar with all of these spots and their beauty, as well as many others beyond these typical tourist highlights. Most people never get the chance to learn of Nicosia’s impressive culture though. Hence we turn to you, asking you to tell stories of your life within this great city.
