Qulpynai confectionary is the local network of compact, cozy patisserie shops & cafes that offer a large variety of fresh, nice-looking cakes, and sweets of all kinds. There are also simple snacks, such as samsa, boreks, pirozhki, etc, as well as drinks. Drinking a cup of tea or coffee is a good idea!
The Qulpynai on Auezov street is right at the corner of Tolebi street, which is a vibrant, hectic area with lots of different other eateries nearby, like Fort Vernyi or BAO sushu & noodles restaurants. Other important places nearby include a Small supermarket and the Astana hotel. While the location itself is slightly to the west of the city center, it still remains its part and can boast a very good transport connection to all 4 directions with bus stops on every corner.
The shop has a nice, light interior, the staff are friendly and provide quick service, and the tables are available both inside and outside. Qulpynai might be mostly for sweet-lovers, but it is an ideal place to visit with family or friends.
