Pension Homeland is located at the Marine Terrain, next to the Scheepvaart Museum. When you follow your Google Maps instructions you will probably wonder where to go when you arrive at the Kattenburgerstraat. You need to go through the old entry of the Marine barracks, which is quite unique.
Pension Homeland has its own brewery, which you can see when you sit in the restaurant. The kettles shine behind the restaurant, where small batches of craft beers are brewed. Nevertheless, they offer more than ten home-brewed beers! The best part about Homeland is not only that it still has its own brewery, but that it has so many things all together. It is a brewery, restaurant, cafe, a shop and a vintage hotel. Sitting outside of Homeland in the summer with a home-brewed beer in your hand is maybe one of the best activities you can keep yourself busy with.
