Café de Pénélope is a beautiful charming place in Badaro that you wouldn’t find unless you looked for it. The place is huge and very well decorated. You can choose whether to sit outside or inside. The outside area is covered with plastic curtains during winter so you can enjoy the rain while sipping on your red wine that is paired with a nice plate of cheese. They serve the cheese with a yummy marmalade that I couldn’t stop eating with that warm soft bread.

The inside is a bit dark but still very nice nonetheless, with all those frames hanging on the wall. And then you go to the toilet where you find messages written on the doors, different for each, man or woman. In the male one, you’d find condoms and in the female, hygienic stuff. I found it a nice idea.

The owner was there and we had nice chat with her. The entire experience was so nice that I added it to one of my favorite places.
