In Lebanon, there are a lot of concept or fusion restaurants offering unique and diverse experiences, but if you're looking for the true taste of Armenian food, Ghazar is your go-to place. Located in a narrow street in Burj Hammoud, or in its other location in Antelias, Ghazar has been serving Armenian delicacies for decades.
On their menu, you'll find the most mouth-watering Lahm Bi'ajin (flatbread with minced meat, best enjoyed with some chili flakes or lemon juice). Don't miss out on the Manti (pastry filled with your choice of meat or spinach, served with side tomato sauce and yoghurt), the sujuk (spicy sausages), and the Vospov (lentils, bulgur, onion). If you have room for something cheesy and a bit heavy, try the Seuborek (puff pastry filled with cheese).
If you visit the Burj Hammoud branch, you'll be in the center of the area and should not miss out on the chance to walk around. Burj Hammoud is famously known for harboring many little shops that sell spices or gold and many clothing stores that have good quality products at affordable prices. Get lost in the streets, and on your way back, pass by Ghazar's bakery for something salty: Kaak.

My friend got the chicken sandwich which he said was delicious, while I enjoyed the Bruvs pasta, which was creamy, cheesy, and simply yummy!

I am a vegetarian and going to a Lebanese diner is never an issue: half of the mezze does not contain meat or poultry, and several dishes are even vegan.

The menu is diversified with not only hearty salads but also tartines, sandwiches, soups, desserts, and sweet bowls. One of my favorites is the Acai bowl.
