A piece of Italy in the Heart of Beirut, Pizzeria Da Marco is a hidden pizza joint, owned by Mark Jibran with the help of his Mother Theresa and the motto “Inspired by Naples, Made in Lebanon”. Serving the most delicious Pizza you’ll ever taste in Beirut, they also make yummy Focaccias and bruschetta’s (Yes they will correct you if you pronounce it wrong), and everything’s made in house from the sauce to the hand-pulled dough, all with fresh ingredients.
The owners are super friendly, you’ll feel like you’re part of the place. When I went there Mark spoke to my friend and me, he told us all about his life and how he got to open this place, he traveled all around Europe, switched between career positions, and even told us about his passion for sports, plus how this very pizzeria was supposed to be his retirement plan, but he decided to start with what he loves to do early on because life’s too short not to enjoy what we do every day. You can observe his passion in the way he serves the food with a big smile, and so much love and energy, it’s just wonderfully inspiring! So head on to Pizzeria Da Marco enjoy the Mouth Watering food and support this small business, because I’m sure it will take a pizza of your heart!!
PS His Pesto De Basilico Pizze and Bresaola Pizze ARE A MUST TRY!
