On a random Monday I was looking for a place to sit and have a cup of coffee since my usual shop was closed, and I was in such a desperation to find something else instead so I walked a few meters down in Veres Pálné Utca I saw this lovely teahouse called Big Ben Teaház. I knew I had to try it and when I entered, I smelled the freshly brewed tea and immediately fell in love with it.
The store is nicely decorated with hundreds of different mugs and has a huge variety of teas that you can also buy for take away or you can sit to drink it there.
For someone it was just a usual rainy Monday but for me was the day when I found another great place I can visit regularly! Although I am a coffee lover, here I realized I am also a tea lover.
On the menu you can find a lot of different and unique sounding teas that even after many times I’ve been to Big Ben Teaház I still have not finished the whole selection. If you decide to visit, I would highly recommend trying the dark chocolate tea with a sip of cream on the side. Hope you will like it too!

I always go for the rose and caramel teas, which I usually accompany with a few biscuits dipped into the melted sweetness.
