Muzikum Klub - Bisztró Budapest

Great bites and beats

Betti from Budapest

I come from a smaller town near Budapest, and ever since I moved to the heart of the city, I have been on a mission to find the best spots for amazing coffee, delicious food, and killer views. It's become a hobby for me... I guess it is everybody's hobby, but I'm absolutely loving every minute of it nonetheless. I am an ultimate city explorer, curious about uncovering the coolest spot...
"Muzikum Bisztró, near the National Museum, serves a great 2-3 course lunch menu affordably."

Have you ever had that one place on your to-visit list indefinitely, planning to go every day but never quite making it?

For me, this was that place until I finally stopped by. Now, it’s become my top choice for lunch outings, and I do not even bother checking the menu anymore because I know whatever they serve will be fantastic. So, if you are looking for lunch in the city at a reasonable price, I can’t recommend the Muzikum Bisztró enough, from Monday to Friday, between 12 and 15 o’clock. They offer a great two-course or three-course menu, complete with dessert, all at surprisingly affordable prices.

Each day brings a new lunch option with tender meats and sides that are always a great match. Conveniently located next to the National Museum, it's an ideal stop if you're heading to the market from the city centre. It’s wise to arrive on time, particularly Tuesday through Thursday when these spots tend to fill up quickly with regular guests.

While it’s primarily a restaurant during the day, the venue transforms into a vibrant club during weekdays, hosting concerts on the first floor. It’s again a perfect fusion for me, where you can combine pleasure with business! Don’t forget to check their event schedule to catch your favourite performance! So, why not treat yourself to lunch and take in some live music later on while you‘re at it?

Arquitecto Pitpit

The secret garden

In the place of a former canteen, a tapas bar opened, with the cute name of Arquitecto Pitpit, recalling the birds that often chirp in this leafy court.

Csendes Vintage Bar & Café

Surrealist blast

"Csendes Vintage Bar & Café" in Budapest means 'quiet' but the name is a bit misleading - it's a buzzy ruin bar without the rains & a comfortable eatery...

Bottomless Lake

Oasis in Buda

There's a myriad of urban legends; claiming that it managed to swallow tanks during WW2 or that after the system change '89 dead bodies were washed ashore.

The Magic

Tasty Harry Potter experience

It does not look like Hogwarts, but rather a medieval castle where each part has a reference to an event or a place from the books of J. K. Rowling...

Zoo Cafe

Meet the animals

One of the ideas behind the place is to give a possibility for those who want to adopt an animal to try spending some time with them at the café.

The cave is famous for its funny-shaped dripstones, significant differences in levels & narrow corridors. Let your fantasy run free at the Fairy Tale hall.

A secret garden

The coolest part of the gallery is the secret garden that I cherish for its peace and possibility to experience arts and nature simultaneously.
