Iveagh Gardens, located in Dublin 2, is one of my favorite spots to relax and get away from the bustle of the city, in the city.

Just like St. Stephen's Green park, The Iveagh Gardens come fully alive during the days of good weather, when everyone picks up their favorite picnic blanket and goes in search of the perfect spot to chill. In general, and according to my experience, Iveagh Gardens is usually less crowded than St. Stephens Green Park and is located very close to it. This is why sometimes when I want more tranquility I prefer to choose this park.

There are many details about Iveagh Gardens that make it so cool. For instance, many concerts are held here (Gigs restarting June 2022!). Another cool detail about Iveagh Gardens is the beautiful waterfall it has at the entrance (like, c'mon, a waterfall in the middle of Dublin city!). But it doesn't end here -  if you keep exploring, you can also find a small flower garden with benches to sit, and around this area, there is even a walk-in labyrinth. Last but not least, it also has a beautiful walk-in monument that was inaugurated to commemorate the lives of human rights defenders.

So if you are looking for a quiet and natural place in the heart of Dublin where you can not only relax but also explore and interact with the different areas, Iveagh Gardens is the place for you!
