I have always loved views from a height - I don’t know why but there is something about it that makes me want to climb up a really tall tree and look at the city or town that I am in.
Located in Dublin's Silicon Docks among the Facebook HQ, Google HQ and many more, The Marker Hotel in Dublin is one of the newest 5 star hotels in the city and it is one of my favourite hotels for a few reasons but the main one being their rooftop bar.
The rooftop bar at The Marker Hotel has some of the nicest cocktails in Dublin and really great views - you can see both the sea and the mountains quite clearly while drinking a yummy cocktail! If you are a rugby fan, there is a great view of Dublin's Aviva Stadium too.
If it happens to be raining on the day that you go to The Marker, unfortunately guests are not permitted on The Rooftop because the wooden floors can be very slippery but otherwise I would definitely recommend a visit! The interiors of The Marker Brasserie are also fab so it definitely is a spot to visit whatever the weather!
