"Artigianato e Palazzo" is an exhibition of Italian and foreign artisans in the 17th-century Corsini Garden.
It's a four-day event with talented designers who make jewels, hats, dresses, bronzework, ceramics, ornamentation and perfume-making. Artisans show their creations in the beautiful Italian-style Corsini Garden and provide you with live demonstrations of their work.
You can find different kinds of objects made by well-known artisans or by younger artisans who have won a place in it thanks to a contest.
You are surrounded by art, nature and by the wonderful Palazzo Corsini, with its ancient Limonaia (a greenhouse for citrus tree plantation). As you can imagine, you should choose to visit the exhibition not only for the talented artisans, but also for visiting the sophisticated Baroque-style garden with its lemon trees, statues and geometrical beds.
You can feel a friendly and relaxing mood in the garden, given off also by the popular exhibitors who have been going to the exhibition for many years now. There are also some food exhibitors who let you taste their delicious products!
What you need to do is wear a nice dress and bring a hat, because once you are inside the garden you don't want to leave!
