Borboleta Gastro Patisserie is new to the neighbourhood, and it is nice to have such a cute and elegant cafe in Moda. Borboleta welcomes you with the warmth and comfort of home and yet with an elegant service like you belong to a royal community. From the porcelains they serve to their interior design, everything looks harmonious. This cafe derives its name from the Portuguese word for ‘butterfly’—Borboleta. I don’t know why they have chosen this name, but the name makes it even more welcoming.

You can find many options, from the savoury delights to the sweetest indulgences. I can definitely say that even the sight of desserts evokes a temptation to treat yourself to a delicious dessert, but it’s hard to choose one among many. The best part is that they have desserts without sugar, which derive sweetness from natural ingredients like dates. We have tried one of those, and it was definitely delicious. The best part, besides the taste, is that you don’t feel guilty after eating it.

Borboleta is a small cafe, but it has both interior and exterior space. Outside, there stands a Christmas tree nowadays. I don’t know whether they will keep it after Christmas, but you can prefer the table in front of it and have nice photos with the tree if you are in the Christmas mood already!
