There are a ton of places for some late night grub in Krakow but not all equal one another in popularity and quality. U Szwagra opened with one location in Krakow and within a few years has expanded to a number of locations due to its popularity. I stumbled across this particular location on my way home from the city center one weekend night. I was a bit frustrated by the line, but now I know it was worth the wait.
The menu here contains everything from zapiekanki (french pizza baguettes) to their kebabs which is the main reason patrons flock to this spot, sometimes even from across town. I enjoyed the Servets which is basically kebab meat on French fries in a sauce of your choice. Probably not the healthiest option on the menu, but oh so good! Luckily if you are feeling hungry after going out or late at night, U Szwagra is open 24/7.
