I love the LA Flower District! It’s my favorite place to buy plants and flowers in LA. It’s a bustling district frequented by many, with secrets only locals know. The LA Flower District is located on Wall Street between 7th and 8th street. It’s made of several shops and local business owners in the floral industry. There are plant growers, floral wholesalers, florists, designers, shippers, accessory shops, and more! Everything you need to buy or make any floral arrangement for any occasion!
The most common place to buy flowers is a place that’s actually called “The Original LA Flower Market”. Here, dozens of vendors sell a variety of flowers. I recommend navigating here and parking on the street or in a nearby lot. (Estimate: $5-$10 for parking). I’ve found floral bundles for $5-$10. Bouquets for $10-15. Succulents for $1. Medium-sized house plants for $10 – $15 (orchids included). Large house plants for $15-25. My favorite place to shop is Secret Garden Lee’s Orchids. Cash is king. Anywhere from $10-$100 will get a nice mix of plants or flowers.
Here, I enjoy shopping for flowers and making my own bouquets at a fraction of the cost of supermarkets and floral boutiques. I like to decorate my home, give flowers to friends, and place the rest on graves at Forest Lawn. I love to buy plants here too. My whole balcony is decorated with plants from the LA Flower District!
