Bar…Coming Soon is perhaps my number one in Prague and at the same time it is not that well-known. So now I’m revealing my little secret. Appreciate it.
The bar is located near Anděl metro station which is quite a popular and crowded area. Also, when looking for some drinks, this is the area to go. The interior all blue, which makes it eye-catching and easily recognizable from the outside. And if you are wondering what all the texts on the walls are, sometimes I don’t even know myself as some of the words are just the invention of someone’s mind. The story behind is pretty prosaic. When they were building the bar, they were just writing random surrealist things based on free associations on the wall and voila…
What I like the most about the bar is that it is really simple, made most apparent from the menu, where you can find some beer, coffee, a few drinks and hot dogs. When talking about hot dogs, that is what makes this place special. They offer three kinds of hot dogs; you can get all of them in a veggie version, they are delicious and for 50 CZK, pretty affordable, too.
And I couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I didn’t mention the service. The guys behind the bar are extremely nice, funny and personal and always treat you well.
