Osteria Bonelli is the real deal: here you can get your favorite dishes of the Roman tradition mixed with some modern entries. You come here because you like simplicity, delicious food, a chill atmosphere and a wonderful location, as the restaurant is in front of the famous Alessandrino aqueduct.

Here you can find the lesser known dishes of the Roman tradition. Sheep brain, giblets, the so-called fifth quarter. There are also less bloody dishes, such as the zucchini filled with meat in tomato sauce or the simple, but always attractive, meatballs in tomato sauce.

The tradition here in Osteria Bonelli touches everything from starters like fried zucchini flowers to the more traditional pasta (carbonara, cacio e pepe, etc.) to other variables of a more creative sort.

The portions are generous and the prices are more than ok for the quality of the food you get.  Ah, almost forgot: here you won’t get a menu. The waiter will come to you with a blackboard where you will find the menu of the day without prices. But I can promise you that you will be amazed at the end of the meal to have eaten so well for such an agreeable price.
