This is one of the places that are at such a central location and yet so hidden that you might not notice it at all. Here's Bar Me - quite unexpected, tucked in the beautiful building of the Military Club, brought to you by the guys who created one of the fanciest bars in Sofia (check Tobacco Garden Bar article).
Even though it's quite small (fits up to 40 people), Bar Me is conveniently divided in two areas. One is a classic bar in the best traditions of Tobacco Garden Bar - just choose the leather sofa or the stools and order a cocktail from the bar, enjoying the nice music. After work or on a Friday night - it's totally up to your mood.
The other room is more like a lounge area with sofas and armchairs. It's great for your coffee & croissant or a cup of warm tea in the morning. Or any other lazy interval of time you might have at your disposal, for that matter. Adding rum to the tea is always a good idea in cold and snowy times - Bar Me offers plenty of varieties.
Entrance is from Georgi S. Rakovski street, just across from the golden-domed Russian Church.
