I should warn you. I have a love-hate relationship with this place. Let me explain.
It's a fancy hotel in the very heart of Sofia. With a rooftop bar. I love their couches (straight ahead from the elevator) during a lazy Sunday. The 180 degrees panorama of Vitosha mountain is stunning. Add to it a drink of your choice (latte if you ask me) and a book or nice company, and you are set for the afternoon hours.
So what's not to like?
It's a fancy hotel in the very heart of Sofia. With a rooftop bar. I hate how posh it could get in the later hours of the evening. However, if you come before the party started, you should be able to enjoy an after-work drink as well. The bar overlooks the central part of the city and has a magnificent view of Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Italian and Austrian embassies and other major buildings in Sofia.
After all, this is one of the most expensive hotels in Sofia. And it certainly lives up to its reputation (in a positive way).
P.S. You should have realized by now that I dig places with a nice view. If you want more of Sofia from above, check out my other similar articles - Kopitoto & Pri Orlite.
