This place is so popular that apparently it does not need much advertising. At the same time, though, it's one of the best kept secrets of Sofia because it's hidden just behind the former Royal palace. It had been closed for almost 2 years but is now back in action.
The atmosphere could hardly get better - you are in a tsar's backyard after all. Especially in warm summer evenings and with the colorful lights they put on, it's an awesome getaway from the busy daily life of Sofia. The music is great and they have a very long list of tasty cocktails.
As the saying in Bulgaria goes - sometimes too good is not good. So the one downside of this place is that it's actually too nice which makes it too popular. So it might be a bit overcrowded - not even a single place to sit or just too loud for some people's taste.
The bar is definitely a better option during the summer when they have tables all over the place outside. If it's get too cold they usually even provide some blankets so the garden is actually open even in late autumn. Even during winter months, it's one of the coolest places to hang out in the center.
An added bonus - it works 24/24h! So any time you feel like a cocktail, you might stop by, even in the middle of the night.
