Spotter since 2025
I was born and raised in Nieuwegein, not the prettiest town right next to Utrecht. I studied in Utrecht, and since 2015, I’ve been living in the city itself. I’ve lived in different neighborhoods, but for the past three years I’ve been in my current little home, and I can’t imagine ever leaving it. It’s in Utrecht South, a lively area just outside the city center with lots to do. You can also often find me in Overvecht, where I work as a community-based mental health support worker.
I really love this city. I keep being surprised by Utrecht. There is always something new to discover. Because it's a university city, the vibe is really vibrant. I really love getting to know new places and their atmosphere while running and cycling (because that's what you do living here), and going to visit them another time.
I live part-time with my son (born in 2020), which means the things I do, the places I go, and the culture I soak up are wonderfully diverse. And that’s exactly what I’d love to share here on Spotted by Locals!
