About me
I am an open-minded and curious person who almost became a digital nomad but decided that there is no better place for me to be than Budapest and its surroundings. I like traveling, nature, gardening, discovering new places, and solving mysteries. I am into culture, social issues, and volunteering. I studied German linguistics and Public Policy but ended up in IT. And my biggest hobby is showing the beauty of Budapest and sharing its secrets with people.
Why Budapest?
Budapest or Pest-Buda-Obuda is a wonderful jewelry box of true beauty that can be enjoyed and discovered every day. You can find real gems such as gorgeous Austro-Hungarian or amazing art nouveau architectural heritage, interactive museums, rich cultural life, and typical Central European gastronomy. What I especially like about the city is:
• its informal atmosphere,
• the Danube,
• buildings with typically well-shaped courtyards,
• alternative pubs and clubs,
• cozy parks,
• Buda hills are great for hiking,
• short distances,
• bike-friendly streets,
• great public transport.
I have fallen in love with the city to the extent that it became my permanent home.

It does not look like Hogwarts, but rather a medieval castle where each part has a reference to an event or a place from the books of J. K. Rowling...

The cave is famous for its funny-shaped dripstones, significant differences in levels & narrow corridors. Let your fantasy run free at the Fairy Tale hall.

You can try out various sizable musical instruments & jump on the inbuilt constructions that produce sounds, and it is accessible outside of working hours.

There's a myriad of urban legends; claiming that it managed to swallow tanks during WW2 or that after the system change '89 dead bodies were washed ashore.

The coolest part of the gallery is the secret garden that I cherish for its peace and possibility to experience arts and nature simultaneously.

The first wall was erected around Pest in the 13th century, but it was soon deconstructed. Another wall around Pest was built a century later...

The greatest part? Here you will see not only happy children of any age but also smiling adults that enjoy the place at least as much as kids, if not more.
