Spotter since 2020
About me
I'm a copywriter for hotels and travel companies. As an Italian American, my favorite spots are ones with pizza, pasta, and gelato. I also like writing about cool museums, things to do on the waterfront, and Old New York spots that have stood the test of time.
Why New York?
I'm a fourth-generation New Yorker on my mom's side and third-generation Brooklynite on my dad's side. Whether it's Manhattan or Queens, or Brooklyn or Staten Island, every corner of the city feels like home.
Where can you find me online?
"Dutch Kills" in New York isn't hiding it's one of the best bars in the city, but it isn't publicizing the fact, either. No password to enter, however!

After, "Anthony & Son" Panini Shoppe's Italian-style super-sandwiches, no regular New York sandwich will ever taste as good again...

"Scarr's Pizza" in New York is always packed! It has a retro-style 1970s vibe, which is extra cheese on top for me. Best to grab a slice & eat on the go!

"Caffé Dante" (est. 1915) is the closest we have to European caffes in New York City. I like coming here for aperitivo and pretending I'm in Rome!
by
"Brooklyn Museum" is NYC's second-largest museum. It doesn't feel that way, and that's what I like most about it, as well as its modern art...
by
"Katz's Deli" is legendary. I'm hard-pressed to think of a spot that feels more like Old New York than here. It's as old as the word 'delicatessen' itself.
