About me

About me

I grew up in a supermarket family that created a “fantasy food store” on Long Island and in South Florida. Since 2011, I’ve been a copywriter, publicist, and social media manager for brands including Atlas Obscura, Booking.com, Cuba Travel Network, EDITION Hotels, Life House Hotels, and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.

Why New York?
I'm a fourth-generation New Yorker on my mom's side and third-generation Brooklynite on my dad's side. Every corner of the city feels like home, but you're most likely to find me in South Brooklyn.

Where can you find me online?

My spots (13)

Anthony & Son

Old-school sandwich shop

After, "Anthony & Son" Panini Shoppe's Italian-style super-sandwiches, no regular New York sandwich will ever taste as good again...

Dutch Kills

Upholding cocktail culture in Queens

"Dutch Kills" in New York isn't hiding it's one of the best bars in the city, but it isn't publicizing the fact, either. No password to enter, however!

Montero's

Quirky Brooklyn dive bar

"Montero's" (est. 1939) in New York is one of the weirdest bars I've ever visited, in the best way possible; it takes you back to working-class Brooklyn...

Caffé Dante

Negronis in the Village

"Caffé Dante" (est. 1915) is the closest we have to European caffes in New York City. I like coming here for aperitivo and pretending I'm in Rome!

Brooklyn Museum

Art in the outer boroughs

"Brooklyn Museum" is NYC's second-largest museum. It doesn't feel that way, and that's what I like most about it, as well as its modern art...

Rockaway Beach

The Queens Riviera

"Rockaway Beach" is New York City's very own Riviera! It's the perfect place to escape the heat during the hot summer. Just a breezy 50 mins away by ferry!

Scarr's Pizza

Retro-style pizza joint

"Scarr's Pizza" in New York is always packed! It has a retro-style 1970s vibe, which is extra cheese on top for me. Best to grab a slice & eat on the go!

Katz's Deli

Legendary Jewish deli

"Katz's Deli" is legendary. I'm hard-pressed to think of a spot that feels more like Old New York than here. It's as old as the word 'delicatessen' itself.
