I have a soft spot for Kiosk 1 — once the first of its kind in Tallinn, and now one of four. For me, it’s more than just a café; it’s where many of my birdwatching tours begin.
I usually arrive about half an hour early, step inside, and order a cappuccino — always. Then comes the choice: if I feel like something sweet, I go for the lemon-rosemary cake; if I’m hungry, the tomato bun is my favorite. It’s become a little ritual that sets the tone for the day.
On warm days, I sit under the linden trees, sipping my coffee and getting into the rhythm of the tour ahead. And when it’s cold, I find a cozy spot by the window, watching birds and busy city life pass by.
