Stalker Pathway (Stalkeri käik) is in the heart of the renovated and trending Rotermann Quarter of Tallinn - which is known for its striking blend of old industrial architecture and modernised urban space.
Stalker Pathway may just look like a regular street in another hipster area with restaurants like Flamm and cafes, but actually it has a special and significant connection to the city’s cinematic history.
Stalker Pathway (Stalkeri käik) is named after Andrei Tarkovsky’s iconic film, Stalker. While in the film this street was a gloomy path leading to a forbidden zone, the Stalker Pathway has a very vibrant vibe nowadays.
For fans of Stalker and film history enthusiasts, walking through this passage feels like stepping into a piece of cinema and making you wonder how much has changed in this city since Soviet times.
Even if you aren’t familiar with the film, Stalker Pathway offers numerous restaurants, cafés, and an Art museum to enjoy during your visit.
