If you want to enjoy a sunny spring day, Turin offers you several opportunities for outdoor activities.
Along the River Po, there is a long cycle path, starting from the very south-east of the city and reaching the very south-east side.
If you have the opportunity to rent a bike, just get close to the river and start biking as long as you want (the cycle path actually continues from the south side, till the city center of Moncalieri, and to the north side, till the city center of San Mauro).
Along the Po River you can stop at several places to chill: close to the Umberto I Bridge, on summer evenings, you’ll find plenty of people enjoying a beer in the Valentino park! I really like the atmosphere on those evenings.
While you are biking, you will pass close to several points of interest like the “Monte dei Cappuccini” (close to the Bridge Vittorio I) and the Valentino Castle (in the Valentino Park).
Here you can download the complete map of cycle paths in Turin.
I used to run along this path, and especially in summer in the late afternoon, it’s amazing!
