BAM! That's the sound of ceramics falling on the floor, as well as what the girls at BAM Keramiek say after a job well done, hence the name of their company.
On the Springweg, in a more quiet part of the old city centre, you can visit the main (work)shop to see them in action, and buy locally crafted ceramics. They are well-known for their locally themed products, such as cups and plates with hand-drawn Dom Towers, as well as with curse words in local slang, and much more. A perfect souvenir or present for someone back home if you ask me!
If you have time on hand, you can also book a workshop with them, or even a course over a few weeks or months, either at their main workshop or in their second location located in one of the unique wharf cellars on the Nieuwegracht.
