It may not look like much in the photos, but Beton-T is one of the more fun and surprising spots in Utrecht (in my opinion)! It started a few years ago as an initiative to provide event space for whoever wanted to organize an outdoor event in Utrecht. The current result is an agenda filled with fun events as varied as Utrecht's inhabitants. Check out the online calendar to see what they are hosting. During summer, there are usually festivals, craft workshops, skateboarding sessions, salsa dancing, and probably much more!
My recommendation: the monthly flea market called Betonnerie (although it's not planned in winter). There are usually more events planned in spring and summer than during winter, but you can also check out the sister-organizations Vechtclub Keiland or Vechtclub XL, who sometimes host workshops inside.
Some events, like the Betonnerie, are free. Others require an entrance fee or a ticket.
