Bigoli is a beautiful shop selling the most mouth-watering Italian products and sandwiches. This is a great pitch-stop if you are looking for a cheap lunch on the go.
In the front of the store, they sell coffee; in the middle, you’ll find huge counters showing all the cheeses and cold cuts, as well as some pre-made dishes to take home. At the back of the store, there is a sandwich counter where you can get absolutely delicious sandwiches (I recommend the Pastrami).
Grab one and take a seat in front of the store or at the nearby Ganzenmarkt, where it’s usually sunny and ‘gezellig’, even in winter. The store gets pretty busy, so make sure you queue in the right line! There are usually two, one for Italian groceries and one for the sandwiches.
