Kleine Max is a small restaurant on the corner of the Kanaalstraat, one of the most diverse and busiest streets in town.
You probably won’t come here for the best pizza or pasta you have ever had, but the prices are fair and the location is definitely worth a visit.
You can just sit on the terrace watching all the different inhabitants passing by. Inside, there are very well-maintained tile paintings from the old grocery that was once located here. Or, on rainy days, have a coffee, bring your book and imagine you are really living in this beautiful city.
