If you are into classical music, this is the place for you. Well, besides a real concert hall, I guess… The Muzieklokaal, next to the Weerdsluis, is a restaurant, café and bar dedicated to celebrating classical music.
They almost always have classical music playing in the background and host live concerts multiple times a week, usually classical or world music, and usually free. This way, you can enjoy classical music in a more informal setting than in a concert hall. Besides the music, the restaurant is of great value, and they serve mostly organic and local food and drinks.
This, in combination with the great music and laid-back vibe, makes it a great spot for a date. They also have a sunny terrace and little music boxes on the toilet stalls. All in all, more than enough reasons to pay a visit!
