Although it’s a little bit at a distance from the city center, I recommend the Nar if you are looking for a night out. The best way to get there is to rent an OV-bike from one of the rental locations. The Nar is a club that hosts parties during the day and night. During lunch, they also serve food. Sometimes, they host an art bazaar featuring local artists and other fun activities. Just check out the planning on their website.
During club nights, the DJs are usually a mix of local talent and more well-known ones. The vibe is usually funky, mostly with house or more experimental sounds. If you are looking for harder techno, I’d recommend other clubs, like WAS or Basis.
Most of their events require a ticket, usually somewhere between 5-15 euros. Some events are free, though, like their Thursday special, where you can get a pizza and a cocktail for 5 euros each! This usually starts in the afternoon and lasts until the evening.
Unfortunately, I am not a great photographer when I’m out dancing, so the pictures for this spot are not super clear. If you want a good impression of the vibe, check out their Instagram. Be sure to buy a ticket beforehand, as it can sell out.
