Boundary Stone is a beloved neighborhood brunch spot that just reopened after COVID hibernation. Set a little bit off the beaten path in Ledroit Park, Boundary Stone is my go-to, casual brunch spot. Ledroit Park has a relaxed neighborhood feel and is only a 12 minutes walk from the Shaw metro station. However, it is not obviously metro-accessible to tourists, making it a less crowded spot. If the weather is nice, I love sitting on the patio to watch the locals and enjoy the views of the colorful row houses. While Boundary Stone reopens after COVID, reservations are highly encouraged.
The brunch menu offers classic choices including egg dishes, a breakfast burger, and French toast. If you visited before COVID, be on the lookout for a lot of new dishes. One of my favorite dishes is the unexpected hot honey chicken eggs benedict. It's not what you'd normally expect from eggs benedict but the heat and eggs work perfectly together. Boundary Stone no longer offers bottomless drinks but has great deals on mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Aperol spritz.
Boundary Stone is open for brunch from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and some Monday holidays.
