Hidden happy hour spot
Hidden away behind the Hotel Monaco in Chinatown is an unexpected place to find one of the prettiest patio bars in the city. Dirty Habit is a wide open patio with lots of comfy but chic seating. Strung lights and stone fire pits set an inviting but still polished tone. Even though the bar itself is a bit hidden, its central location in Chinatown makes it a great stop before dinner or a Verizon Center performance.
This hotel restaurant is a great, upscale option for dinner, lunch, and brunch. However, Dirty Habit also offers a weekday happy hour with discounted cocktails, beer, wine, and bar snacks. The cocktails rotate but there’s a good variety of dark and light liquors. As a whiskey girl, I tend to zero in on their Old Fashioned. Without breaking the bank, you can lounge with your drink and feel fancy before a weeknight dinner.
Dirty Habit offers happy hour Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 19:00.
