I am a big fan of Indian food. I am an even bigger fan of extraordinarily delicious Indian food! Here is where Mehak comes in. Mehak is located in a fairly obscure part of town in a very, in my opinion, unremarkable building. You might second-guess or question yourself when you first get there, but trust me, it is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to and I have been to a good number of Indian restaurants.

What I really like about the food here is that it is a combination of Armenian produce and Indian spices. My favorite item on the menu is the Vegetable Pakora. Although it is a fried dish, the freshness of the cilantro/parsley is very discernible. I have tried many other items on the menu and all were awesome.

Mehak has relocated to the center of Yerevan, close to the Manuscript Museum and just minutes away from both the Opera and Cascade. The new restaurant is elegant, perfectly complimenting the elegant service and menu. Definitely give Mehak a shot!
