When a restaurant talks about 'gourmet' burgers it's often hard to know what to expect. But one glance at Korner's menu is enough to realize that these guys take the word very seriously. With ten varieties of beef burgers (including the super-spicy‚ Mr. Scoville and the very Swiss 'Alpine Star'), two different veggie burgers (one with Halloumi and one with Feta cheese) and three types of chicken burgers (including the aptly named 'Angry Bird') you know you're in for a treat. And then, just when you thought you had finally decided on one of these awesome combinations, you discover that they even have a menu with amazing seasonal specials - like the 'Bling Bling', a delicious black truffle burger!
Apart from food the restaurant also boasts a very nice selection of import beers - the Scottish Brew Dog Punk IPA fits perfectly to every burger - as well as an interesting assortment of single malts and some quite fancy cocktails.
So to all burger lovers: if you're visiting Zurich, this is the place you don't want to miss. And to all non burger lovers: come here and you'll become one.
