Thanks to the globalization you don’t have to travel to Marrakesh or Dubai anymore to experience an arabic bath. After spending a day at the beach and in Park Ciutadella, you should try the fantastic “Hamam” (relaxing hot steam bath in silence) located in El Born neighborhood right in front of the Park. Taking a bath there is probably one of the most enjoyable experiences ever. Have an Arabic mint tea on the warm luxury benches after enjoying aromatherapy, bubbles, candles, massages on hot stones etc. in the ambiance of a beautiful ancient remodeled Spanish wine-cellar. The prices are decent, a bath costs 25 euros without massage and with massage 36 Euros. Aire de Barcelona also offers gift vouchers ranging from 25 Euros up to 81 Euros. Giving a voucher to friends became my gift-idea-number-one. Details about this spot (Show on map)

If you want to spend your hard earned money by taking a bath in a shallow crowded basin in a basement, pay for 2 hours but being thrown out after only 1:15 smelling of chlorine like you just came out of the pool at your gym, Aire de Barcelona is the place to go. Otherwise get a monthly subscription to a local gym for the same price and enjoy more or less the same service, without the mint tea in the exclusive plastic glasses but with the added possibility to use the installations for something else. Aromatherapy? Spraying air freshener in the ambience is not aromatherapy, maybe they don’t know. And dimmed light and some candles in the corners hardly makes a place exclusive.
i have several aromatherapy candles at home and they can really soothe my stressed body.`.-
I have tried it too! it’s fantastic! A great place to relax and get rid of your ploblems….
