There’s a couple of restaurants I keep visiting on repeat in this city. Good food on a top location for a low price – this is the kind of restaurants where I spoil myself when I am too lazy to cook!
Bun Bo is one of them. Located right behind the Cathedral square, the terrace is close to the tourist buzz but hidden enough to be peaceful. A very comfortable terrace to eat outside! It really is one of my favourites because of this, but the interior design is worth checking out too! Colourful Asian, maybe a bit kitsch, but the kind that puts a smile on your face!
The food is amazing. Cheap and delicious, what else do you need? We often share all the starters between friends. Spring rolls, wontons, it makes it kind of an Asian tapas platter.
The pho soup is great on colder days but the one dish you can wake me up for in the middle of the night is the chicken with mango. Yum!
Their cocktails are refreshing and available in many flavours. Go for a strawberry mojito or the passion fruit margarita and your exotic meal is a fact!
Like I said, prices are very affordable. At night you can order a la carte, on weekdays there is a 3 course lunch menu for 10 euros. So even on a budget you can indulge yourself with some Vietnamese comfort food.
