There is one neighborhood in Beirut with LOTS of antique shops, and by lots, I mean other antique shops outside of this neighborhood get their antiques from there... Basta Al Tahta.
Now, how about I tell you that Ezzo for Antiques is run by a local who has been in this antique business for more than 30 years?! So your next antique shop destination when in Basta Al Tahta should be Ezzo for Antiques, where you can find enchanting items for all budgets. Who knows, you might be lucky and get a discount by mentioning my name!
Ezzo for Antiques can be your destination for vintage pieces, whether you're looking for glass, wooden carved pieces, clips or stamps, or even vinyls! You name it; it's like walking inside a snuggled Aladdin cave full of gems, and you want to get your hands on all of them.
Guess what?! I got this passion of mine for culture and heritage in this city from the owner, Ihab Ezzo... who's my father! Growing up as a kid and teenager spending my day at this shop for sure shaped who I am now.
