Overlooking the American University of Beirut (AUB) is Fool's Bar, a rooftop restaurant and bar located at Bliss Street's Three O'Nine Hotel. If you haven't stumbled upon the hotel before, it's a very urban, very young hotel with a lovely interior. On their rooftop, you'll find the charming Fool's Bar. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor, the space is a little tight but the ambiance is very nice. Outdoors, you can find comfortable seating as well as high tables and chairs. There's also a small pool with high chairs around it.
If you can snag a seat by the glass, do! You'll be able to enjoy the beautiful views of AUB and the rest of the area. Aside from the lovely setting, the place has a diverse menu of food and drinks at affordable prices. I haven't tried the food YET, but their menu seems rich with appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, mains, and desserts.
Their drinks menu is also very diverse with a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, hot drinks, and signature drinks. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and not too loud if you're looking for a nice sunset spot and overall, it's a place that will charm you into coming back again and again!

Very charming in a very simple manner - nothing too extravagant, yet very cozy. I love that Grand Meshmosh is never too loud or too crowded, but just perfect.
