Jaï is my favorite for Asian cuisine in Beirut because they simply serve dishes with Thai, Chinese and Indian mastery. Read till the end to know what the free dine-in desert experience is like!
Jaï is in an alleyway of a calm street that regularly gets buzzing with students as it faces a closed street for the local private Haigazian University. This perk keeps you a bit away from the noisy street of Michel Chiha that leads to Hamra Street, which is always crowded. The ambiance is very simple and woody, as they have some seats on the sidewalk, with 2 tables inside that could host 2 persons each.
Let's get into the real deal... their food! I always order either the Chicken Pad Thai or their Butter Chicken because they are so juicy and just mouth-watering with flavors that could just make your tastebuds dance with joy and satisfaction!
Then don't just leave early after you pay, because you'll be served with their fluffy donuts topped with powdered sugar and a sprinkle of spiced almonds for that crunchiness element, and a side coconut sweet milky yet lemony dip. I mean how could you just miss that?!
Honestly, traveling with their dishes to Asia has never been easier. If you're in Beirut, do your tastebuds a favor and visit Jaï.
