I've been a fan of The Barn's Very Berry Green Salad for years. I've recently been back for a visit and finally decided to try something new, and I was equally in love.
The Barn is an organic and healthy eatery with branches in Beirut, Batroun and Dubai. They serve breakfast and brunch items, as well as hot dishes for lunch or dinner and a range of drinks and desserts. The branch in Beirut - Gemmayze - is nestled in The Alleyway and boasts a very modern, minimalist design.
I tried one of the Chia Puddings. While the portion may seem a little small, it's sufficient if you're sharing something else or makes for a nice, light treat first thing. I also tried the Eggs A L'avocat, which is eggs with Mashed avocado, pomegranate and almond on toast. Their coffees can be served with milk alternatives for those who do not or cannot drink dairy products. The whole menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly.
I would recommend sharing different items for brunch time. While I haven't tried the hot dishes (yet!), the menu looked rich and delicious. Might be a good option as well!

Very charming in a very simple manner - nothing too extravagant, yet very cozy. I love that Grand Meshmosh is never too loud or too crowded, but just perfect.

One of my favorite places in Hamra is Raseef Beirut, originally a small sidewalk restaurant and pub – hence the name: “Raseef”, which translates to “sidewalk".
