If you are a fan of nice alcohol, you definitely should visit The Malt Gallery. It is located in Achrafieh. The Malt Gallery is a kind of library of alcohol, proudly displaying bottles from all over the world including various bottles of whiskey, artisanal rum, cognac, armagnac, vodka, gin, and tequila, mezcal, wine and craft beer.
Regarding whiskey, there is a collection ranging from Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, Japan and many other countries. And of course, the American continent is represented by a selection of its whiskeys and bourbons.
The owner, Selim is always there whether you need just advice about an appropriate gift or you might want to be educated deeper and have a lecture on a specific bottle or alcohol type. You can simply enjoy some tasting and relax together with your friends. They do invite guests and organize lectures on specific alcohols as well -- you only have to follow the news on their facebook page.
The Malt Gallery is one of my husband’s favorite spots, he would just tell me he is passing by to get a gift for someone and then he would end up spending hours there, having his cigar, chatting with Selim over a glass of whiskey.

The menu is diversified with not only hearty salads but also tartines, sandwiches, soups, desserts, and sweet bowls. One of my favorites is the Acai bowl.
