5 Local Food Instagrammers We Love

Instagram has taken an important role in most of our lives, there’s no way around that. Restaurants want to be as instagrammable as possible and we all have that one friend who has to take a picture of all the food before starting to eat. These 5 local Instagrammers are an inspiration when it comes to cooking and eating in general. We love their pictures, their recipes, and their foodie tips. Be ready to get hungry!

Antwerp: Camille Dubois

Camille has recently switched to a plant-based diet and according to her Instagram feed, she’s nailing it. Her blog posts are all about mouthwatering recipes, proving that plant-based food can be absolutely yummy. And her account regularly features nice spots to eat in Antwerp. Her stories on the other hand offer a nice peek into her life – think yoga, her dog Taco, and her husband who takes the most beautiful pictures. An account we can’t but love.

Berlin: Nora Eisermann and Laura Muthesius

If you’re in doubt about how to style your dining table, don’t look any further. Nora and Laura are a food stylist and photographer based in Berlin. We don’t know how they do it but they manage to make the most simple dishes look good. Apart from that, all the recipes can be found on their blog. The only downside? It’s probably not going to look half as good when we make it ourselves. But it’s worth it.

Copenhagen: Frederikke Waerens

Frederikke is extremely young yet nailing it. Her account is one big feel-good food magazine straight from Copenhagen. All the chocolate you could wish for in your life, cinnamon buns, red fruits… Baking clearly is her thing and we’re not mad about it. Her blog is available both in Danish as in English and she also makes Youtube videos. And in case you’re curious about where this girl goes out to eat, she’s got a section about that on her blog as well!

London: Leyla Kazim

This is not Leyla’s main account but it definitely is an interesting one. We all know London can often be overly expensive, so that’s London Cheap Eats only features dining out options at less than £8. Quite the challenge you’d think. Apparently it’s possible though, as there are already more than 800 posts. Everything is also shown on the website – which makes it a lot easier to navigate. London on a budget: check!

Rome: Rachel Roddy

Keeping it real can sometimes be an issue when it comes to Instagram. Not for Rome-based Rachel Roddy though. Her feed is full of half-eaten dishes, pics straight from the streets of Rome, and food in all its shapes. You’ll get all the Italian inspiration you need and some great restaurant recommendations on top of that. Rachel also writes for The Guardian, so check her out!
